Experience
I have over 20 years’ experience in workshop facilitation, within both Outdoor Learning and Performance – based activities. I’ve worked mostly with children and young people but also with the elderly, NEETS of all ages, LDD groups, and drugs and alcohol / mental health support groups. I am currently working for (among others) Arts Council Wales, Tir Coed, HiJinx Theatre, Coel Lleol, Vagabondi puppet theatre, Festive Road and EdenVentures.

I offer imaginative, fun and creative outdoor play possibilities! Both Forest School-type activities – basic bushcraft (firelighting, shelterbuilding, cordage etc), greenwoodwork, games, quests and exploration – and/or site-specific performance: drama games, storybuilding and telling, music, poetry, puppetry and walkabout. So we could make spoons and use them to stir a pot of food on a fire, around which we tell stories…. Or explore the site and create dens or structures to host site-specific stories, songs or poems…. Or try out a survival situation – would we survive the ‘heli-drop’ challenge?..... I can bring a specific activitity or tailor the session to a particular group’s wishes.

    Tales from the Cauldron.

Crafted by immortal hands the cauldron comes, the cauldron stirs.
Reflected in our Earthly lands a place for healing and rebirth.

You are invited to a theatrical, storytelling journey on the trail of the secrets of the cauldron. Follow Kitty and Milly into the wild woods and find your place at the wise woman's fireside for the most nourishing of feasts: a feast of tales. Drawing on Welsh myths and incorporating songs, sounds and puppetry we have wrought these tellings within our own pot of imaginings; crafting from found materials and giving bodies and voices to the characters in the tales.

This performance is suitable for adults and children over 5 years old and is an outdoor, interactive experience. There will be fire, there will be refreshments, there will be cover and there will be a short walk so wear suitable clothing.

Please contact us directly to reserve a ticket as numbers are limited. We aim to arrange lift sharing to minimise vehicles to the site.
