]Using locally sourced timber we have created seating for up to 30 people to sit in a circle, discuss and perform in a communal fashion with plenty of room in the centre of the Yurt for a group leader to discuss matters or a performance to take place.
The seating has room for shoe and clothes storage underneath and seats can be removed as and when if more space is required. Heated by a wood fuel burner, we have plenty of wood available from our land, cut, stored and replenished each day to keep visitors warm or simply to create a calming environment.
Lit in the evening by candle light lantern, it is important to us that the space maintains a certain natural atmosphere, not over-developed and power free. However if required, there is the availability of minimal 12v lighting and power for some small electrical equipment. The low impact structure sits on raised pallets, is a seasonal structure and will be erected from March through to October being taken down and stored away for the wet winter months.
Ideal for group activity meetings, as a performance space or for private consultations the Yurt is a multi purpose funtion space available for hire for a few hours at a time or for full days and weekends.
