Adjacent to the Yurt is our free-standing timber framed facilities block. Acting as an extension to the services we can offer to visitors to the site it also doubles up for our own personal and employeeneeds when working on site.
We have ample harvested rainwater reservoirs and our LPG boiler and solar powered 12v mains pump pressure means we literally have hot water on tap. Be that to our alfresco kitchen area or direct to a shower cubicle we can ensure that our employees or visitors are kept clean and refreshed at all times.
The kitchen area comes with a portable gas stove and kettle for tea and coffee making and has essential kitchen utensils and crockery available when needed.
The composting toilet area is cleaned daily with waste taken away and stored in our humaneur compost area. All grey waste water from the sink and shower passes through a series of natural filters to purify before returning to the soil.
All site facilities are cleaned daily using eco-friendly products and visitors are encouraged to use the food waste and recycle bins provided to ensure our carbon footprint from waste is kept to a minimum.
